From Unhoused to Housed

"Wow where do I begin? Well I had a stable job working at caterpillar my life was good was full-time as I was on my way to work one day my car broke down as the days went by I had to keep calling out of work because I had no way to get to work the repair for the car was $9,000 I didn't have that kind of money and it ended up getting fired couldn't pay my bills got evicted and ended up on the streets.

The hardest part about being in the streets was where do I go how can I generate income what was I going to eat sleep and lay my head at battling the elements of the outdoors no friends no family was all alone and it made me feel less of a man because of how I used to be.

Well let me to the Kinsey House was I overheard people talking and that they can help with everything or guide me to the right places to go to and the staff was amazing they greeted me with open arms very helpful kind loving and very supportive and stayed in contact with me throughout the process and the services OMG I would definitely send people in need of help to the Kingsley house without a question.

The support I received from Miss Hudson and her staff was above and beyond housing food clothing necessities etc. turning point for me was the help that I received from Miss Hudson I pushed myself forward they help me to get my goals and now I have a job I have a place to call home and the connections there I truly love it.

I feel like a new man again knowing I have somewhere to call home have a job my life has changed so much that I owe everything to the Kinsey House and I thank Miss Hudson and her staff.

​I will tell anyone who is homeless to go immediately to the Kinsey House and ask for Miss Hudson I would truly like to thank Miss Hudson for everything that she has done for me I truly love her and not giving up on me and I like to thank her with all my heart my soul to her she is the best and I'm glad that she is a part of my life now because she keeps me on my toes or as they say my p's and q's LOL."
